#37 Presentation at school
Yesterday, I had a great oppotunity to do a presentation to many teachers of a leading school in India.
Our first topic was the very commonly used Japanese greeting "Yoroshiku-onegaishimasu" which translates please be kind to me.
We practiced the greetings with everyone.
After that we talked about the differences of Japanese and Indian schools.
This picture shows I am teaching how to wear Japanese traditional wear.
We received the thank you card with the picture of cherry blossom trees on the front and Japanese words was written inside!
We were truly thankful for all teachers especially the principal of Pathways Early Years!

先日は Pathways Early Years という学校でプレゼンをする機会を頂きました。
Pathways Early Yearsという学校（幼稚園）は、インドを代表する学校のひとつで、日本人の生徒多数もいる学校です。
そのため日本に対して興味がある先生が数多くいらっしゃって
約４０名の先生方が各分校から来て下さいました。
僕たちは、日本の基本的な知識から箸の使い方といった日常的な事、日本教育とインド教育の違いといった少し専門的なことまで、日本に興味をもってもらえるようにプレゼンを行いました。
プレゼン中も質問が飛び交い、多くの先生方が興味を示してくれたのでとても有意義な時間になりました。
最後には、桜の絵が表面に書かれていて、内側には日本語で”ありがとうございました”と書かれていたThank you cardを頂きました。
この機会をしっかり生かして、今後も教育について関わっていきたいと思います。
